Life's a Beach

One more thing I should have been thankful for in my Thanksgiving post was how close we live to the beach. We are within both walking and very short driving distance to some beautiful beaches and we don't go often enough. When I was on mat leave with Rio the beach was a regular occurrence for us and remained that way pretty much until the boys came home. Obviously taking three kids anywhere is a bit more of an undertaking, but still, no excuses!

On a perfect Thanksgiving weekend that included family photos, turkey, and way too much pumpkin cheesecake, we finished it off at the lagoon and enjoyed every minute of our island beauty.

Nothing like getting a little cold and damp then coming home to turkey leftovers!

  2. Hey you! Life IS a beach alright. I am with you 110%. The air is the freshest anywhere and the peacefulness is the head-cleaner of the century. Those two things I mention, shine out in the pictures above.
