In two weeks, our baby girl will be 5! Where have 5 years gone? Wowsa, how is she that old? How am I that old??
Rio and I have been working very hard on prep for her party. This is the smallest party she will have had, but it is definitely following a theme. I can't say I'm going as hard core as I did for Thing 1 and Thing 2 (I won't be dying any food blue!) but Rio has a lot of ideas herself about what she wants, so the two Marthas are having a lot of fun together. The bickering has been kept to a shocking minimum. Oh yes, that's right, we're too much alike to not bicker.
Photos will indeed be coming when the time arrives. Until then, I'll just say "ROARRRRR!".
I have been thinking about Elsie's 5th already too! (And hers is not until August 19. lol). It is a lot of fun. I think we are going a little skimpier on both kids this year in regards to the amount of people there but I still want very special days for them. It's great fun. It's even more fun for Maddie because she is only turning two in July and she doesn't care (no bickering whatsoever yet!). Elsie...well, she has some ideas of her own....
