Hand, Foot, and Mouth

Because yesterday wasn't enough, let's make life a little more fun.

When you have rashy hands and rashy feet and a rashy mouth (face) that looks like this:

that equals hand, foot and mouth disease, a weird little childhood virus.

Nolan has it.

Rio's had the fever that accompanies it and is still not herself (she had H-F-M when she was two and you only get it once so this is either just the fever part of it or something unrelated; either way she's sick and home from school).

And now Asher has it. As I mentioned yesterday we were worried he was coming down with it before the MRI but it held off. Lucky for him, in the middle of his hospital day, he broke out in blisters too.

So we have three little creatures in varying stages of misery and a mother who is the most miserable of all of them.

Who said parenting was easy? NOT ME.

  2. We had that back in November. Thankfully it looked worse than it was for us; I think just a day or two of fever, and not even high at that.
