Asher has moderate athetoid quadriplegia, affecting the gross and fine motor skills in his extremities, as well as his core strength. He cannot sit, stand, or walk, but is cognitively typical. He has no issues with eating, digesting, vision, hearing, or seizures.
Nolan has mild spastic diplegia, affecting only his legs. Nolan is able to walk without support, but loses balance very easily, and cannot yet run or jump. In all other respects Nolan is typically developing.
