The Trousdell Five live at the southern tip of a beautiful island in the Pacific Ocean, better known as Victoria, BC, Canada. I, (Tracey - the voice speaking to you on this blog), am a former Project Manager turned stay at home mom and writer.
My supporting cast is as follows:
Jordan - RN, musician, chef, and artist, also known as my better half for more than a dozen years.

Rio - My right hand girl, born in May 2006, who proudly carries the honour of best big sister ever.
Cohen - baby girl #2, who passed away at 20 weeks gestation in December 2008.
Asher and Nolan - spontaneous identical twins who arrived in November 2009 at 26 weeks 3 days gestation, wreaking some serious havoc before coming home from the hospital at 5 months old. Both boys have Cerebral Palsy as a result of the complications from their early birth.
In 2011, I had surgery to remove half of my thyroid gland due to a cancerous lump. Early tests revealed it did not spread beyond my thyroid, but my remaining half will continue to be monitored.
The challenges we've faced are a small part of our story. An even bigger part of it however, is how we're overcoming them all: "Defining the new normal", so to speak.
